Our Story
MINDSHIFT was born from lived experience. From navigating identity shifts, life changes, and the quiet moments when who you were no longer fits who you are becoming, we learned how easy it is to feel disconnected from yourself during times of transition.
We searched for support that honored the whole person, including the mind, the body, the nervous system, and the inner world. When we could not find what we were looking for, we created the approach we wished we had.
Meet the Co-Founders
Jessica
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified School Counselor, and Life Coach who has spent over 20 years supporting children, teens, and adults through periods of change and transition.
I believe lasting change happens when we feel safe enough to slow down, listen to ourselves, and work with both the mind and the body. My role is to help you reconnect with who you are beneath the roles and patterns that no longer fit so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.
Laura
I’m a Certified Social Worker, Associate Life Coach, and Educational Consultant who has spent over 22 years helping teens and adults rediscover their confidence, clarity, and direction.
I believe we are all born whole, worthy, and capable. My passion is helping people reconnect with their authentic selves so they can move forward with purpose, resilience, and empowerment.
What We Share
We share the belief that people are not broken. They are adaptive. Beneath every pattern, role, or struggle is a resilient, capable self waiting to be seen, supported, and expressed.
MINDSHIFT was created to offer a space where insight, compassion, and embodied awareness come together so that change feels grounded, sustainable, and real.
I’m a Certified Professional School Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over two decades of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through periods of growth and transition.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves, often not because they lack insight or motivation, but because their nervous system, patterns, and past experiences are quietly shaping how they show up in the present. What I’ve learned, both professionally and personally, is that meaningful change happens most reliably when mindset work is paired with awareness of the body, emotions, and the nervous system. This allows new patterns to take hold in a way that feels sustainable and safe.
At the heart of my work is a belief that each person already carries a unique set of strengths, gifts, and inner wisdom. Sometimes those parts become buried beneath expectations, roles, or survival strategies that once made sense but no longer fit. My role is not to fix you, but to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and develop the skills and awareness needed to move forward with clarity, confidence, and intention.
I guide people in uncovering what has been holding them back, understanding themselves with compassion, and creating change that feels aligned with who they truly are rather than who they think they are supposed to be.
I am a Certified Social Worker, Associate Life Coach and Educational Consultant who specializes in helping teens and adults develop tools for empowerment and skills for life. When individuals know who they are at their core they are unstoppable!
This is my life’s passion: to help individuals identify their authentic self so that they can identify goals and push through barriers to success. With over 22 years of experience, I have focused on helping teens and their families navigate high school and the college application process. Teaching individuals how to become architects of their lives develops empowerment and forges the path to success in college and beyond. We all come to the world complete, whole and worthy. Somewhere along the way many of us have lost that confidence and it is my mission to help restore that healthy sense of well-being. Whether I am working with teens or aduls, I am focused on guiding individuals to see their challenges as opportunities for growth and realize their ultimate potential.
